Raquel Vendome Carries Forth The Antonio Vendome Legacy

New York, Jan. 15, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Every human life is characterized by a few key, defining moments.  The manner in which a person rises to meet such a moment transforms it into turning point, which will be remembered forever.  Raquel Vendome, the daughter of the architectural visionary, Antonio Vendome, has chosen to work side by side by the maestro himself. She learns every aspect of the trade from him, and his journey hitherto.

Raquel has always listened to the calling of her heart, and followed it with passion and perseverance. Her parents have instilled in her a strong moral backbone; just as Antonio 'Nino' Vendome's parents did in him. She is known to have pursued an education that focused on children, and accordingly on the developmental stages.

There was a point in Raquel's life when she had to make a choice, one that would dramatically affect her life, and also of those around her. And, Raquel Vendome chose to join her father in the real estate business that he has painstakingly and successfully established. She learns the ropes of the business under the guidance of her father, and has undergone training in every facet of the real estate business.  From the crucial process of property acquisition to the many nuances of the construction building and building business relationships, Raquel focuses on it all.

One simply has to look at the New York skyline to see Antonio Vendome or Nino's magnificent contribution to it. The acclaimed real estate star has always endeavored to offer New Yorkers with architecture that is a both modern and contemporary, and yet classical in its style. Raquel Vendome is working with Nino on the proposed 'Habitable Sculpture' that will be constructed along York Avenue and 62nd Street.

The 'Habitable Sculpture' project seeks inspiration in the timeless creations of Picasso and Braque. The exterior of the building will be intricately designed and constructed accordingly, and will feature cube structures and angular sides. It is expected to be quite spectacular, and understandably there is a buzz of excitement about the project.

In order to bring his vision for a project to life, Nino, the real estate legend is known to seek out the very best and talented professionals to work with. And for this collaboration, the Vendomes work with architects Alan Ritchie and Philip Johnson. The proposed building will include 50 residences, and will also offer commercial spaces. It will be designed as a green, environment friendly building, with floor plans that beautifully use the available space, and will also have excellent acoustics.

Antonio Vendome's humble yet proud beginnings are well known. The shoeshine boy from Astoria had a vision for his future and worked hard and diligently to achieve it. Raquel's parents have inculcated the same values in her, and which is why she has learned the business from the bottom up, and now works beside her legendary father. It is not a matter of filling Antonio Vendome's shoes, but in fact of carving out a unique and special niche for herself in the real estate business, while carrying on Nino's legacy with immense love and pride.
