Sorry, but the shutdown has furloughed 800,000 Federal workers. Some of them (non-essential) DOD. Consequently non-mission-essential procurement/acquisition is on the back burner for now. Although the need looms large, as you have so well pointed out, the "McAfee fix" may be delayed until the current budget impasse is resolved.
