Salty, I have not fired a gun since October 1969. That was duck hinting. I never heard of a 4 gunge. We had 410's, that are not part of the "gauge system", did not know the difference til I looked it up.. Yes that 4 gauge would be big? I used a Model 12 Winchester Pump, probably manufactured in the 1950's. I gave it to my hunting enthusiast nephew a few years back as a keepsake.
