'Lately'? I was referring to his ordinary schedule. if you think he didn't bridle over being confined to the WH, for appearances sakes, you're just not paying attention.
Why would anyone hang around to appease a hostage taker?

He's already cost himself the votes of far more than he gov. employees he's stiffing, the only thing he's EVER been good at, but the votes of their friends and families.
