Go back to coal? When did we as a people leave? Looked at China lately? They currently have 259GW of coal fired plants under construction. That alone is more than the total coal generation capacity in the US - and that's on top of the 993GW they already have in place. Look at France and what happened when they piled taxes on gas.
There is no change coming. People want inexpensive, reliable power and they have wised up to the global warming alarmist who cried wolf.
I'm not saying that there is no place for solar. There is, but if you think there is going to be a wholesale change to "green energy," you have another think coming.
