USN requests information from $TMPS regarding its
Post# of 2306
As I opined in October - after TMPS was not awarded a contract by end-September 2018 for start of FY2019 - its was likely that the USN would want assurances as to what level of on-call capability $TMPS could provide and from what date. Among the obvious factors to be considered would be timescales for aircrew and groundcrew recruitment and movement of the aircraft fleet (already registered in the USA) from their current storage location in the UK to the USA.
As already stated in earlier posts, aircrew and groundcrew recruitment is not likely to be an issue as USAF / USN / USMC retirees of the right sort will be well aware of the existence of $TMPS - as it already operates various "special mission" aircraft for the DoD - and there would be no shortage of volunteers of ex-RAF Tristar aircrew and groundcrew who would like to get an EB-3 Visa as a path to citizenship.

Another $TMPS shareholder has recently received confirmation from the CEO that discussions are ongoing with the USN with $TMPS responses due by January 17, 2019.

"We are currently responding to a list of questions that were sent to us by the US Navy related to the aerial refueling program. This is a common procedure that should not be taken as positive or negative regarding Tempus. However, it does mean that an award decision is getting closer. Our answers are due on 17 Jan."
