NY Gov Grants Clemency to Nearly 30 Facing Deportation & Jail Time Due to Criminal Records
Controversial immigration activist and NY governor Andrew Cuomo used his authority to grant clemency to nearly 30 illegal aliens facing deportation and jail time due to their criminal records.
Cuomo’s office announced their decision and listed all 29 immigrants on Monday. Each of them were illegal immigrants who had criminal records and were facing deportation.
The charges these immigrants were facing included robbery, first-degree assault, attempted arson, counterfeiting, and criminal sale of a controlled substance.
What a wonderful Governor Cuomo is to keep these stand up citizens from being deported to their own countries. That was sarcasm if you didn’t get it…
Cuomo’s office promoted his decision to pardon these immigrants by saying it is a way to “help keep immigrant families together and take a critical step toward a more just, more fair and more compassionate New York.”
He says that the immigrants “demonstrated substantial evidence of rehabilitation and a commitment to community crime reduction.”
Donald Trump was right when he said, “The Democrats do not care about Open Borders and all of the crime and drugs that Open Borders bring!”

Cuomo is 100% opposed to anything President Trump wants to accomplish.
“While President Trump shuts down the federal government over his obsession with keeping immigrants out, New York stands strong in our support for immigrant communities,” he said.
The president pointed out a recent incident that involved an illegal immigrant to affirm the need for border security.
