I wondered if the government shutdown would affect the timing of the release of the FDA/IPIX meeting minutes.
So last week I called the FDA and after a "raft" of menu options I finally got a real person. She said that the
FDA function of providing the meeting minutes should still be operational and not be affected by the shutdown.
Because I was just an investor , that's as much info that she could provide.
(That was about as close to "Insider Information" as I have ever come across without it actually being
"Insider Information"!).
Any shorts and bashers who were relying on the government delaying the release of the minutes could find
themselves up the creek now as the company sounded very pleased and confident in the 8k after the FDA meeting.
Quote:
“Our interactions with the FDA have been highly collaborative and constructive, providing us with clear guidance
to help inform our Phase 3 development plans,” commented Arthur P. Bertolino, MD, PhD, MBA, President and Chief
Medical Officer at Innovation Pharmaceuticals. “We are in alignment as to necessary key pivotal trial design
features and Phase 3 clinical outcomes needed to support a NDA filing. We look forward to continue working closely
with FDA on our Brilacidin oral rinse program as we prepare to enter the pivotal stage of clinical evaluation.”

Also in the same PR above:"Once official meeting minutes are received from the FDA, the Company expects to release
more details regarding planned Phase 3 trials of Brilacidin as a novel oral SOM treatment."
This pot is starting to come to a RAPID BOIL!!!!!
