Ocasio-Cortez Demands Trump Wall Funds Be Used for Something Else, Instantly Regrets It
Incoming socialist congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez sounded off on Twitter, trying to use her aversion to the border wall to score some politico points. And she failed miserably.

Or replacing water pipes?
Or college tuition/prescription refill subsidies?
Or green jobs?
But notice how no one’s asking the GOP how they’re paying for it. https://t.co/jXdm1w9bpy

Her Twitter followers quickly informed her of a few things:
The federal government pays for none of that. Do you have any idea how the government works?

Here’s the thing… umm… defending our borders is actually… like… a function of Federal government. And the stuff you listed is… like… so not. https://t.co/2UCpymb3oe

Literally none of those things is the job of the federal govt. – from the get-go they have been charged with protecting our people and our BORDERS. That IS their main job.
Not paying teachers.
Not fixing pipes.
Not pretending to care about green energy.
Not paying for college. https://t.co/6bxxsjukJo

Also point out where in the constitution those issues are the responsibility of the federal government?

1. Teacher pay is a state and local level issue, not federal unless you teach for the @DoDEA
2. Again “pipes” is a local level issue not federal.
3. Ok, I’m for college tuition, but like you said…who’s going to pay for it?
4. How about just jobs?
Go take a civics class.

Regarding her comment of “notice how no one’s asking the GOP how they’re paying for it,” one Twitter user harkened back to the numerous times Ocasio-Cortez has failed to explain how the government will find the $40 trillion needed to fund her proposed programs over the next decade — like during this CNN interview and this Univision interview.
Now you’re questioning how someone is going to pay for something?!? Lolololol. Oh the irony.
