SFOR couldn't afford BR but can afford R&G?
I guess I should be excited that there are those who feel we have the money to pay the massive legal up front retainer fees for R&G,
What about litigation financing? Could it have been for litigation other than sfors patent, perhaps like entrust wanted to engage in non related litigation counter suits or persuading a suit against Kronstat for conflict of interests, R&G nor Br is hires for that only patent infringement other litigation would evidently xone out of sfors pocket. Perhaps that's why it wasn't persued,
Also why would cash starved SFOR stray from BR who wrote SFORs patent and is on contingency who sucessfully handled and secured almost 10 mil from MSFT to pay a high end Patent law firm they cant afford?
R&G knows all the companies that are infringing in sfor , they know the amount of money they could make in billions on contingency , They fully understand the strength of sfors patent, they are also the lawyer for sfor buyout suitor TPG (who might be the co that buys sfor) , as well as Intel , McAfee.
R&G studied SFORs patent for months before taking them on,
SFOR cannot afford R&G , so how is it that R&G is working for SFOR?
R&G stands to make way more money like BR on contingency than on retainer ,look what BR looks to get with DUO in the neighborhood of 300 mill , I guess to be on contingency sfors patents would have to be extremely strong , so strong they would view taking them on as a very low to no risk like um , lawyers who take on contingency cases in Personal injury cases,
Sfors case ievidently is as slam dunk as you can get, I guess that's how BR views it. MSFT must have felt that way also to pay out 10 mil .
Do lawyers take on cases on contingency cases they think they could lose? And lose all the upfront costs?
