$1.5 million litigation funding is not completely

Ropes & Gray isn't just fighting one case for SFOR. They are fighting three cases concurrently. Also, they spent numerous hours on the Entrust suit last year (now settled) as well. Additionally, they took the lead in fighting the PTAB case for 6 months. How far would $1.5 million go in fighting 3 to 4 litigations concurrently along with a PTAB battle? How much money would just one battle cost with an elite lawfirm? What happens to the litigations if SFOR runs out of the $1.5 million?
Another question: Ropes & Gray fought the PTAB battle against Duo, Centrify & Trustwave. These are lawsuits that Blank Rome has been and is still currently fighting for the last 2.5 years (June 2016).
We know that the damages SFOR is seeking from Trustwave have been merged into the Duo lawsuit. Blank Rome is leading the charge with the most high profile lawsuit SFOR has. So what does SFOR say to Blank Rome, who has been an SFOR partner for almost a decade? "look, Ropes & Gray is more high profile than you guys so we're going to give them the $1.5 million while you guys stay on contingency like you have for the last 2.5 years? Even though we've only known R&G (publicly) since March of 2017 we're aligning ourselves with them more. Don't worry though, you guys will get yours when we settle with Duo because even a resident of Ancient Greece or a Pre-schooler could win our lawsuits with the patents that we have!!!".
It's laughable. Ropes & Gray is on contingency. Which is reason number one to be incredibly excited about February 4th.
