Ha! Got my first Mac in 1993!
Still have one from 1998 that I sometimes use because it's hooked up to a printer that does well with heavy label paper and I don't want to take a chance on gumming up my main printer.
Have a MacBook from 2001 that still works.
People complain that Mac's are expensive, but they are NOT. When you compare a mac to a PC that has the same power, the Mac is actually CHEAPER, according to PC magazine. And they don't crap out every year or two. This one I'm using right now I got in 2006. Although I do have a new one, the Retina display is incredible. I was just watching Dr. Who online and the picture is stupendous.
