since some improperly claimed high salinity i simply showed:

and since a water well has 2 primary purposes - first as a source of water for human consumption and secondarily for agriculture
i provided cites for salinity levels in the usa -which are allowed up to 1000 ppm salt for drinking and 2000 ppm salt for agricultural use,but the highest posted city was ca 129 ppm.
Since these 2 purposes provide the parameters for and inform a water well,that means that zn's statement of low salinity means the salinity is by all logic at most less than 2000 ppm and likely less than 1000 ppm and very possibly -within the context of salinity levels of drinking water in usa cities-less than 100 ppm salt.
So, given this "low salinity", the well could be used as a water well in the future.
Those screaming high salinity said it could not.
