I endured 12 years of parochial school; the overseers of my education being dark robed mysterious beings bearing secret "Born to Rule" tattoos hidden beneath their flowing habits (yes, NUNS!).
One of the students in our class was an unfortunate child who responded to the name Danny. The only qualifier for his passing the 8th grade was that the system would not permit him to remain in school past his 18th birthday.
I will never forget (and the reason why I now respond with a shudder to the mention of TBG), the nuns telling the students that Danny was, yes...
"Touched by God".
