Buyout offer for what?
The only real, current leg that is worth its weight in gold is our distracted driving apps.
Besides AutoNation and CarMax, we have hundreds of other dealerships offering our products.
Pharrel, out first private label of BFound has ordered 700 units with more on the way. Perhaps other heavy equipment rental companies and the manufacturers will hop onboard. This can expand to many thousands of units.
Our second Private Label is promising print and social media, radio and television advertising that could mean many thousands of orders.
What type of company would want to take over this unit? I could speculate a large insurance company whose interests would include distracted driving as well as interest in verifying the location of heavy equipment, both for limiting insurance dollar losses.
We are a relatively small company now trending upwards with the visibility of our products climbing. I guess it would be a good, inexpensive time for someone offering to buy us out...but I just do not see it at this point.
I have mixed emotions, but unless there is an offer on the table that cannot be refused, I would rather see ONCI go it alone at this point.
