Known as ART(Albuquerque Rapid Transit), the all electric bus rapid transit system stretches about 10 miles , with additional routes planned.
ART runs down a stretch of the historic Route 66 corridor, making stops every 7 to 8 minutes. The ART project cost around $126 million to complete and went fully operational earlier this year.
ART was funded with the help of federal grants.
