Longs that want to uplist soon.
Longs that want to stay on the OTC until the SP gets higher
Shorts that don't want to cover and maybe short on another run
Traders that would love another run to $3-4.
All have valid reasons but I have not heard anyone propose what happens to the SC acquisition, other acquisition(s) and revenue stream if the company doesn't uplist and get institution investors to fund the acquisition.
Since it seems like the SC acquisition is coming first, maybe there is a large bridge loan until uplist, they have found non institutional type investors to invest, or a large software company. The latter would make all this a moot point and likely no RS, but there is no reason to believe that is happening but I am up for a surprise.
