Subject: A place of prayer and hope. (Psalm 39:7)
“What is impossible with men is possible with God”(Luke 18:7)
When God leads us to a place of insufficiency, we are compelled to cry out to him. It is a cry of desperation. We have no hope but Him, and we know it. We are deeply, excruciatingly aware of it because we were confident we would have found commercial oil by now. Since we didn’t, God has once again brought us back to a place of total reliance on Him. We must trust, hope and pray!
The Israelites fleeing from Egypt found themselves in a similar situation. They stood at a precarious position at the edge of the Red Sea. There was no way out. Deep waters lay ahead, a hostile army behind them, it was impossible. And that is what God had planned all along, their impossibility.
Over and over again, The Bible stresses the importance of faith. It’s a strange commodity, isn’t it? Why didn’t God choose more works as the currency of His kingdom? Why didn’t He choose for us to have a flawless understanding as His decision for acting on our behalf…because these things don’t set Him up to display His glory. They would display ours, such as it is. Faith is the place that sets the stage for His greatness. Trust and faith declare our own futility, create a vacuum only He can fill and acknowledges Him.
Submitting to God by faith is the ultimate test of faithfulness. Like Joseph, “do not be afraid” to take God at His Word. Will we trust Him and believe that He will provide for Zion (Job 39:11,12)?
The Megiddo Jezreel #1 and its results were the place where God would have had us all along. It was God’s preference all along to be our only source of strength, our all-sufficient Savior. God was excitingly anticipating the results of the Megiddo Jezreel #1. He stands ready to be our strength in our weakness, the wealth in our poverty, the health in our sickness, the deliverance out of our capacity and the comfort in our despair. From the beginning to the end, He is our place of prayer and hope.
We have added Zion’s current financial needs to our Zion Prayer Line, so please pray with us that we will receive the $10,000,000 described in Zion's Going Forward Summary Use of Proceeds. (Gen. 26:22)
