In my opinion R&G will get at a minimum, a reversal from the US Federal Circuit Court of Appeals. I expect oral argument to be heard.
After the November docket update November 16 referencing the recent case reversal in the same appeals court (Ancora 2018-1404) that set a precedent in favor of the patent holder, I expect negotiations in the other stayed cases may ramp up early in the new year.
In the meantime, I think it's a fascinating time to be mentioning the stock to family and friends. Fundamental patents, revenue deals like Gallagher, and a subsidiary that may solve crypto's worst problems. This stock worked a lot better than the general markets this year and that is quite a talking point right now.
