You have to take a full look at someone like Josey. Look back at 2015 to some of the other stocks he was posting on:
HENC
ROAN
SRSR
All massive losers like CTIX/IPIX has been.
With the exception of the crash last decade, every share purchased since the inception of the company is down 75-95+% (and even crash shares are down over 50%). Any share purchased between 2012 and 2015 is down over 95%.
It's tough to stare that down and stay optimistic. Poor Josey has lost almost as much as I have here.
A lot of us got sucked in on the B-ABSSSI QDIP/2B success expecting a phase 3 to start in 2016 possibly with a partner. Now we're back here again expecting a phase 3 to start in 2019 possibly with a partner. The difference is, unlike last time, we have absolutely no way to fund it ourselves and must take whatever partner opportunities we can.
I'm hoping the optimists here are right about getting a great price for B-OM/IBD but I think the numbers are going to be very disappointing to most here. Before I assumed we take what we can get on B-OM to get Prurisol rolling into a big cash deal. Now we just get the B-OM/IBD deal.
My guess:
$20M-$60M upfront + milestones and royalties is my guess. Stock won't break $2 until phase 3 completes successfully. I'll be jumping with joy if we see $2 next year. That's IF we seal the deal with a partner.
Don't blame longs for being down. No longs expected B-OM to do anything other than have an EoP2 meeting. A lot of longs expected Prurisol to at least be mildly viable and it ended up being a total dud.
There's no reason to think this won't drop below $0.10 prior to a deal. Subpenny likely won't happen but sub-nickel is entirely possible.
