Thanks. Yearly costs of tuition, food, housing, etc at a state school in an inexpensive city might add up to for instance 25k per year. Obviously, private schools in expensive cities have shockingly higher costs on tuition alone, without even considering living expenses.
I have estimates of where the stock price might be in the future and it doesn't stop at $1.
I've funded a relatives' account this year with enough shares I believe to cover the cost of a 4 yr education at a public university in an inexpensive city.
To do it, I spent far less than most people make in a week, and it seemed to me like an excellent way to invest in the next generation.
