Doing a little more research on notifiMED. As you recall there are two products.
1.) For Physicians and other Healthcare Providers
"Our notifiMED application is designed for physicians and other healthcare providers to create more efficient and effective interactive communications with patients. Patients are able to avoid unnecessary and inconvenient visits to their physicians’ or other healthcare providers’ offices by viewing and responding to interactive videos through in-video, on-screen clicks that are designed to assess the patients’ need for an office visit. If the patient’s responses to the interactive video indicate that an office visit is either necessary or desirable, the patient can schedule the office visit right through the video in real time. Patients can also download and print prescriptions, care instructions, and other physician distributed documents right from and through the video. notifiMED is offered on a subscription basis."
2.) For Clinical Trials
"To fund our ongoing development costs associated with the adaption of our notifiMED product for certain clinical trial initiatives"
From the CEO Report:
"Participation goes way up, answers are more accurate"
"Data going in is more accurate and data coming out, better"
"This is why these organization are do excited to work with out, for what this means for this gigantic industry"
Big Pharma spending million & millions on developing a drug and clinical trial and have a hard time getting people to do surveys and when they do, the answers are not as accurate as they could be?
Imagine if you were developing a drug for Parkinson's or any other disease, spent 100 million and you are either aren't getting the feedback or you think the data you are getting is wrong and it sinks your trial.
What would a tool that gets more participation and accurate worth?
Rory mentioned they are working with CROs. Also we'll see notifiMED as the front end. Would it be the front end of IBM Watson Health integrated into ePro, I don't know. notifiMED would be the front end of one or more of these platforms.
