Didn't need to "call and ask" - I attend the County Commissioners Court sessions, so being there in person I know what was on the agenda, what actions were taken, in addition to the fact that the agenda, and the meetings are public records.
Stopping by the county clerk's office is equally easy when one isn't a carpet-bagger - no new filings for MMEX as of close of business Friday - no waiting, because checking in-person is trivially easy. But thanks for playing.
