I should have guessed, the rats always get away!

The double standards in the legal system and our justice department continue to be highlighted in the news.
As I am sure you know, it is against the law to lie to the FBI. But apparently it is not against the law for the members of the FBI to lie to the American people. For example, George Papadopoulos, at best a low-level person in the Trump campaign, recently pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI. He was sentenced to 14 days, one year in supervised release, 200 hours of community service and fined $9,500.
At essentially the same time, former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe remains under investigation for lying to the FBI four times, three of which were reportedly under oath, and no punishment has occurred. Oh, yes, McCabe was fired, but where is the conviction and the punishment? Is there a double standard there?
