I continue to be fascinated by the motivations behind COR's now 3.5 year expensive legal search for a resolution when the majority if not entirety of its financial loss has been covered by separate litigation and mediation. It just makes no sense from a business standpoint. And that now brings us to the ultimate crossroads - it can be assumed that the 8th circuit will not vacate the lower court's ruling as nothing of substance came out of the 30 minute hearing. COR's final choice will then be to accept the legal loss or appeal the case to the US Supreme Court. On average, the Supremes receive about 7000 requests per year and agree to hear about 80 cases. All signs point to the Court declining to consider this particular case, and yet so many bizarre and unprecedented things have happened that I'm left wondering if this case just might make the one percent. Ha.
