Cisco's attorney is the same as MSFTs vs SFOR
Post# of 82672
Did you catch that huge point in zpauls post? What was the outcome? How do you think that will it impact SFOR with Cisco?
Yes it was Mr John Garretson who was representing Microsoft when they decided based on the strength of SFORs patent, to just pay SFOR 9 mil instead of fighting a case they couldn't win. It was a sweet deal for them.
Microsoft with its battalion of lawyers, does not give 9 mil to anyone if they don't have to.
Now representing Cisco/Duo Mr Garretson is uniquely familiar with SFORs patent. Now SFOR is even more formidable armed with a Precedent and PTAB victories and Supreme court rulings making SFORs patent virtually unbeatable! Is it unrealistic then, to expect a favorable outcome as in settlement ? Microsoft as ZPauls posted today, zpauls post settled in 4 days. Hmmm
This matter of Garretson representing both Microsoft and Duo was was also posted by Hates Liars back in may 8th 2017 see below.
Its kind of fun connecting the dots.
