Because I’m super intelligent...lol. Nah, just google stuff a lot. Any way, the problem with their answer is this was not a forward split. FINRA only allows a check box for forward split, but then there is further comments to let them know it was a dividend. If it was a forward split at 20:1, as they stated in their response, you would only had received 20 shares and they would have took back your one. They would have had a new cusip, like they said, but they did not get a new cusip. In reality, you rec’d 20 ADDITIONAL shares so now you have 21 and NO NEW CUSIP. They are incorrect with their response to you, other than they are not responsible for your possible lost gains since there is no way to verify you would have sold, nor tried to sell.
