The funny thing about Android phones is that the key is the software, not the hardware. Android can run on all sorts of devices, and your fussing about the hardware is moot.
Ostensibly assuming the phones are in production or about to be in production, it is likely that hardware updates will be integrated into the process. Again, your fussing about the hardware is moot.
The only thing you're saying that I agree with is that the phones need to be put to market. I really don't think whinging about it will get us there any faster.
