If Sound Concepts is selling directly to the end user, then there will be no discount other than maybe a yearly one. Probably a substantial fee to the company as well for setting up the app, site, eCom, etc.
If they are selling directly to the end user, this is taking off like crazy.
If they are selling to the company and they are paying the bill for all their users, then there would be discounts but nothing like the numbers you have in my opinion having worked at and started up SaaS companies, but you have the right idea. $1 a user probably wouldn't even cover their overhead cost.
I think it would be more like everyone gets Pro for $10/mo. Since a company would sign up for a 1 to 3 year commitment, that might be $100/yr type charge. which is more than a 15% discount.
Software is usually priced based on what problem the solution is going to solve. That's the reason notifiMED for example wouldn't be priced at $10/user. Could be, but I doubt it as they are selling B2B.
