I think the bigger question is when Platinum wants to sell off Lifescan. I can't see them investing much more than 5-10% of what they purchased Lifescan for if they plan to sell in 2019 as had been hinted at previously.
The other side of this is the appeal and how badly all parties might want to make that go away. There will likely be some horse trading on that if there truly is interest.
IMO, I think $100M is the go/no go line for Platinum, but stranger things have happened.
