63% of Non-Citizens in the US Are Using Welfare. Mass Immigration and Welfare Plunged California into Poverty

A Center for Immigration Studies report reveals a stunning 63% of households headed by a non-citizen reported that they used at least one welfare program, compared to 35% of native-headed households.
About half of the “non-citizens” in the US are in the country illegally. Non-citizens also include long-term temporary visitors such as guestworkers and foreign students, and permanent resident green card holders. Non-citizen households access the welfare system at high rates, often receiving benefits on behalf of US-born children.
Welfare use rises the longer non-citizens are in the US: 50% of non-citizen households in the US for fewer than 10 years use one or more welfare programs, while the rate increases to 70% for those here more than 10 years.
California was once the richest state in the US, but now 20% of Californians live in poverty!
California’s decline is due to low-skilled immigration overwhelming the state.
About one-quarter of the state’s population is foreign-born. 72% of non-citizens in California are using welfare.
California Democrat lawmakers are considering giving “free” health care to any person who is inside the state, at the California taxpayer’s expense.
