Politics and references to political figures are going to be deleted as they always start food fights. That's why the trolls post things like that, to try to start arguments.
The only exception is something like "Sen. X just introduced a bill that will help biotechs...." etc. Even then, mentioning political parties involved will cause arguments, thus necessitating deletion.
Most of us are friends here, except for the one or two individuals who post with many identities. Best to ignore them.
