Painting pictures-
try this. If you think the patents are fundamental to the cybersecurity industry then why not more simply, make estimates from the size of these 3 markets in general?
1. Endpoints
2. Multi-factor Authentication
3. Crypto/blockchain wallets
then for each apply:
#units in the marketplace
market penetration % into each marketplace
price per unit
royalty or ownership %
expense ratio, for in essence what may grow into a royalty company with a small staff
PE in a very high-growth sector
# shares
etc.
There are certainly no guarantees, but making PPS estimations is something I have chosen to do privately, so that I understand the potential. However, for me to imagine SFOR in a few years, with less than 100 million in recurring revenue, it would mean I had calculated their global market penetration as less than 2/10ths of 1%, BUT I just don't believe that that will remotely describe SFOR then .
One hundred million in recurring revenue recently meant 2.3 billion for Duo. That's not chump change, and if SFOR is able to grow for a bit before a buyout, they can IMO handily surpass that. If they remain independent, it will IMO be surreal.
If the patents are truly fundamental to cybersecurity and you think SFOR might eventually capture even just 5% of the units sold in those 3 markets (market penetration), then the royalty/licensing/sales numbers may surprise you. If Strikeforce converts infringers who already control significant marketshare into royalty streams, IMO things will change in a heartbeat for SFOR . This is why we watch Pacer. Otherwise, they will still continue to develop the deals they have, make new ones, and grow Blocksafe.
These items below might be a place to start estimating the size of the markets, but keep an eye on the dates of those projections below which do not have the same dates. Some product cost data is easily found on the Strikeforce & Blocksafe websites, and the Cyber Safety agreement speaks a bit to licensing rates.
