Not strange to me...He is protecting himself. He is also the leader of the group fighting against Ropes and Gray.
His other team members haven't taken the hint as of yet though (they are all much younger than he is). He sees the tsunami coming, I'm sure.
You can see for yourself if you go to Knobbe Martens website and type in Strikeforce in the search bar. The whole team will come up with their gloating over invalidating 3 patents, 43 claims without any justification except for Alice early dismissal.
You know what happens when that sarcastic little boy smirks at his Daddy long enough when he's being disreprectful...
The PTAB, Supreme Court, R&G, Blank Rome, the Ancora case (among many others since the April Supreme court decision) and Mr. Driemeier are here to wipe the smirk off!!!
