Each of us longs bring something to the fight for SFOR. I have long admired the DD people like: you, Zpaul, R2R, UVS, gimli, BE1, HL and the others that have so generously shared with us. Based on some insights garnered over my military intel career I wrote 700 letters to those I thought could help get the SFOR shield where needed most, from the POTUS through the 3 star & high GS levels. I followed my US Senate letters up with phone calls (twice). Yes, I broke the ice at the Pentagon but it was Bo Dietl & Mark Kay that so impressed DISA & those DOD Contractors! What really helped IMHO was all the other SFOR investors who visited their local field offices like me, or in other ways communicated with their Representatives & Senators. Have no doubt that being their state's residents their communications carried more weight than mine. I posted my letters, Zpaul posted the replies. Our CEO has the originals. All I did was toss him a lateral pass. He gained the yardage & scored. The bottom line is that many investors read my letters & thought it just might help if enough of us also communicated with D.C. It did, thanks to them. It is now water under the bridge. The deals are done. The troops will be protected with the SFOR shield. The next task is to protect our nation's 2020 election from foreign hackers. Even "Mother Jones" magazine most recent issue had a cover story on how Putin threatens it. I am frustrated the SAVE & SEA acts are still bottled up in the Senate Rules and Administration Committee. We must safeguard the foundation of our Republic, the vote, with the SFOR shield. I will moniitor progress on the bills and report to this MB as developments take place. I may ask for your letters once more.
