The patent application most likely will not be visible to competitors for 18 months. nFusz applying for a patent on CTAs in videos that are embedded in the top 3 social sites is huge. That is huge. Not only does that block competitors, but also Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
What could that patent be worth? Well when Amazon put a patent on one click buying some people were like, "Big deal. I'm not going to use it because I am afraid I might buy something by accident."
That one click buying revolutionized online shopping and was worth billions. Now that patent as expired. Imagine one click buying from a mobile device within a native video on Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn or anyplace else. Native means you feel like you are still in the app vs. popping out another window or getting redirected to another site that might look different. That is a big deal in my opinion.
Remember when Rory did the LD Micro conference. At every conference someone will ask is it patented. Now he can say we applied for a patent and there is no one what has anything like this.
nFusz could if they want, just license the technology and make a fortune.

The patent application covers the use of in-video, clickable calls-to-action (“CTAs”) displayed on mobile devices, particularly, devices utilizing Apple’s IOS operating system, and Google’s Android operating system. The nFusz technology is unique in that it allows mobile users to interact with clickable CTAs while watching videos that appear in their Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn feeds, natively, without leaving the application
