Strain gauges are something QMC has discussed making materials for in the past.Sensors will be in every aspect of our lives moving forward.Many other QD and Nanoparticle based technologies have caught up to display and are prime for commercial applications.This is why I like QMC as a diverse investment moving forward.Display was once thought to be the low hanging fruit but not the most prosperous market for the technology.
The company already has a diverse set of materials listed it can make so it's not really changing their focus.
