So far the number of board views is up to 94 today, and that number may increase throughout the evening. CGB will begin trading on December 7th, and it will be interesting to see where this goes once trading resumes. The Asian market is huge, but many competitors are already positioning themselves to take advantage of this market. First mover status is important, and this may give CGB an advantage in the Asian market.
I also wish to note that Canada cannot supply all their cannabis needs in their own market, and increasingly they are turning to supplies from outside sources. Right now, Jamaica and Australia/New Zealand are able to supply some of this demand, but the supply line is enormous and fraught with many delays. As time goes on, these supply line issues will be resolved, and when that happens look for Australia/New Zealand to become a powerhouse in the cannabis industry.
