You mistake Klan gatherings and other displays of tribal and cult allegiance to Trump as measures of his overall popularity.

As for pedophiles; Jerry Sandusky, Denny Hastert, Roy Moore and Tom Foley mean anything to you? I used to think human failings in those matters were evenly distributed as between political parties.
But I've come to believe that those who express the most sanctimony on that subject in particular live in the largest of glass houses.
