Agreed. The FDA trials are what have kept me here. If this was a tech company or a pre-clinical I would have been out long ago as the goal posts kept moving, milestones were missed, and funding deteriorated. My faith in the competency of management to state goals and meet them on time took a serious hit over the past year.
The progress in clinical FDA trials cannot be faked though. FDA trials + a real injection of cash (not the shoe string funding BS but $50M+) will jump start this company.
As for their interest in a $0.14 biotech with minimal funding options? Well, you can make 100% no matter where you start shorting from. They are vultures and believe we are barely breathing soon-to-be carrion if this deal doesn't come through. With the track record over the past year or two, betting against the EoP2 meeting doesn't seem like all that much of a long shot.
Let's see what they say. I'm all in holding more shares than I would like. Not a sign of confidence but more that most of the value is already gone so I might as well hold for a comeback. Buyer beware. Seller beware x2.
