Biotechnology company Earth Science Tech (OTCQB: ETST) develops and markets health-oriented cannabinoid (“CBD”) products, such as its Hygee medical devices. A recent article discussing the company reads, “Hygee medical devices provide women access to cost-effective testing while protecting their privacy. This self-sampling kit allows woman to discreetly test for sexually transmitted infections (STIs). Similar to a feminine hygiene panty liner, the device is worn for four hours to collect a cervical cell sample. Once collected, the sample is then mailed to the Procrea Fertility lab where it is tested for STIs. This is a positive step forward for women who lack easy access to health care and desire an anonymous, discreet means of testing. The device has already been proven successful in detecting chlamydia and is being tested for similar results for gonorrhea.
