House Republicans Preparing To Slap Comey & Lynch With Subpoena’s; Here’s What We Know…
November 16, 2018

According to the Washington Post, Republicans on the House Judiciary Committee are on the verge of hitting former FBI boss James Comey and former DOJ head Loretta Lynch with subpoenas of documents regarding Hillary’s investigation.

Here’s the story from WaPo:

Republicans on the House Judiciary Committee are prepared to subpoena former FBI director James B. Comey and former attorney general Loretta E. Lynch for depositions in their ongoing investigations of FBI and Justice Department officials’ conduct during probes of President Trump’s campaign and Hillary Clinton’s emails, according to a person familiar with plans.

Comey will be ordered to appear for a deposition on Nov. 29, while Lynch will be ordered to appear on Dec. 5. Panel rules stipulate that Chairman Bob Goodlatte (R-Va.), must give 48 hours’ advance notice before issuing the subpoenas.

Representatives for Comey and Lynch did not immediately respond to queries about whether they would appear for the closed-door interviews, though both have expressed a willingness to speak to the panel. Comey stated earlier this year that while he is ready to be interviewed, he will only agree to a public session.
