Aren't You Just SO Proud, GOP?

It’s not like your “pResident” hasn’t been a complete embarrassment from the beginning. Between his incoherent speeches, his displays of incredible stupidity, and his ludicrous tweets, he’s certainly given you ample opportunity to hone your defensive skills on a daily basis.

Bigly unsuccessful based upon most inane righty postings here.

But after getting your asses kicked in the midterms, it must have been of some comfort to realize this past weekend that he was capable of sinking even lower than his usual bottom-of-the-barrel position – and on the world stage, no less!

Your chests must have puffed-up with pride when your “pResident” refused to participate in the ceremonies honouring our fallen soldiers in France, choosing instead to sit in his room and sulk, while other world leaders showed their respect to those who made the ultimate sacrifice for their country.

Well, sure – no one can expect the man who bragged about how he would charge into a school to take on an active shooter to get his hair wet. Even the bravest among us have their limits.

Surely you beamed with pride as your “pResident” was publicly scolded by President Macron, who was compelled to explain to him – in front of the world – that claiming to be a nationalist was the exact opposite of being a patriot.

No doubt there wasn’t a dry eye among you as you watched your “pResident” humiliated before our allies and the global community.

But as has been oft said of your “pResident”, never assume that however low he sinks, he is incapable of sinking any lower.

You must have been overwhelmed with patriotic fervour when your in-house pussy-grabber refused to attend at Arlington to mark Veterans’ Day, and didn’t even bother coming up with excuses for yet another dereliction of his presidential duties – although I’m sure the White House staff is crafting several implausible reasons for his non-attendance even as we speak.

Old bone-spur problems acting up? Injuries sustained at the Bowling Green Massacre making the trip too painful to endure? I guess we’ll have to wait for the “unofficial official” reasons to be thrown at the wall, until one of them sticks with the Walking Brain-Dead – a.k.a. “the base”.

You have to admit that all in all, your “pResident” never fails to disappoint when it comes to his lack of leadership, ethics, truthfulness, empathy, understanding his role and obligations, respect for the office he holds, his responsibilities to the nation he allegedly governs, and pretty much everything that is expected of him.

In that regard, he has proven himself to be the antithesis of what a president should be – and the fact that you actually take pride in his never-ending anti-Americanism speaks for itself.

So rally-round-the-flag, Republicans, and take pride in what you’ve accomplished – putting a self-serving idiot in the Oval Office, whose ability to humiliate our nation before the entire world is as easy as taking healthcare coverage away from our fellow citizens and putting migrant children into cages.

You must be SO PROUD! Don’t let the nay-sayers spoil your moments of glory! Own it – own all of it. Because nuthin’ says nuthin’ like an orange-faced baboon humiliating an entire nation every time he opens his mouth – and doing so in front of the entire planet is icing on an already toxic cake.

And just as a by-the-way side note, if you think your “pResident” can’t stoop any lower, you might want to fasten-up those seatbelts because the 2020 election is going to be a very bumpy ride. When it comes to pissing off voters, your guy is already way ahead of the competition, and there’s no telling how low he’ll go between now and then.

There’s just so much to take pride in, GOPers! Your “pResident’s” endless litany of lies, the never-ending idiotic policies, the list of indicted “best people”, the scorn of our traditional allies, the hush-money paid to mistresses, the investigations into colluding with our enemies, the obstruction of justice, the racism, the bigotry, the misogyny and the “fake news” about a smallpox-carrying “caravan” of terrorists poised to invade the country (well, last week anyway) are sure vote-getters – as proven by last week’s ass-kicking.

It’s time to stay the course, GOP. Now is the time for all good Republicans to come to the aid of their party – and if the events of the past week don’t inspire you to do the patriotic thing by disrespecting our veterans and war-dead on the international stage, you just aren’t getting how awesome your “pResident” really is.
