Ah - i see now that it is the word "tard" that set you off.
And you feel hard because of your supposed "god-child".

First, the word retarded was not always a bad word;
not until the busy minded dirty left made it so.
A story note here:
I recently brought into the .org I work for a $2,000 donation.
3 of the business donor board members came in to present
the check and to talk to me. Referring to a recent case of us looking
into and helping a residence home for 5 mentally-socially challenged
teen males and while speaking to that I turned to a guy as old as me
after using the word retarded saying, "we are old enough to use
the words we did that are alright" He grinned knowingly and nodded.
I would apologize to your 'god-child' in a heart beat if needed.
Thing is here the word retard or 'tard is an insult aimed at you / and the current dems.

A hard core otherwise decent and pretty lady proclaimed how disgusted
and tired she was with language like chic and cute that made a female smaller.
