That's not what I wanted to hear with respect to production from start to finish, but that sounds very logical. From what I have seen in other oil plays I've used as a comparison, you just need to make a reasonable case for oil and the stock price will front run actual production. That is my logic for seeing E&P companies with zero revenue for years and yet a market cap greater than or comparable to TECO.
The Belize political dynamics are definitely something but definitely not unique to 3rd world countries. Seeing how they dealt with BNE, Paradise, the Superbond, and heck even the phone company, that should have given us clues that the GoB was very clumsy with how they wield their power.
Nonetheless, they desperately need Treaty to succeed.
