re the politically motivated reason for some of the recent stock indices drops
"We also have an out-of-control Fed (Federal Reserve) that seems to be doing some sinister things—things designed to intentionally harm the economic numbers in order to affect the midterm elections. It is only by the grace of God over President Trump that the economy is not destroyed, as that is how desperate deep darkness has become to preserve its positions of power."
I have thought the same -that the fed is playing politics -some members trying to hurt the eco recovery by prematurely raising interest rates many many times
not too surprising when u consider the fed believes the systemically failed unemployment and inflation indices-w unemployment never counting those who have given up looking for work and those who dont file
though there is a reason for raising rates - but not this fast- as the rate was at a record low near zero for many years while the fed pumped 4 trillion into the economy, which did not have the desired affect- bc instead of investing this, co's used it to increase cash or buyback stock, and banks similarly hoarded it and even loaned some of it back to the fed for a profit
