I have often wondered this myself when pondering both sides of this argument. I have said many times I am skeptical of ascribing to conspiracy theories like a BP trying to squash IPIX for their own gain, but I am also not discounting it as being possible.
I guess my question for those of you who have been around longer than I and who pay attention to other boards (as I do not participate in discussions on any other stocks online) is: Do you see evidence of the same identities sticking around chat boards for the duration of years bashing other stocks? If so, then that is one more reason not to put weight into the argument of some entity wanted IPIX to fail. If not, well then that makes it all the more odd, to say the least.
