Is the consensus that the shares you own automatic

Is the consensus that the shares you own automatically jump to the IPO offering the day it is announced? I would think this to be the case because I can’t see Rory sitting back for months and months watching this SP going lower and lower without a mitigation plan, especially with the qualifications of who he has surrounded himself with. I sure hope this plan comes sooner rather than later. Thoughts?
