A lot of people poke fun at how slow things are in Mexico, but physical labor in the sweltering heat and business conducted in a state of the art office building are two different thing all together. Not only that, but plenty of times in the States I've seen speedy, knee-jerk solutions that somebody boasted about getting done so quickly, only to find out later that it was full of flaws and had to be done over. Sometimes more than once.
It's far more efficient and pain free to get things right the first time around than it is to deal with "solutions" that don't work until people get done arguing over whether or not they need to be fixed and finally fix them.
