Something does not seem right on this guy!

THE suspected "MAGA bomber" Cesar Sayoc was an image-obsessed "ladies man", who had plastic surgery, a hair transplant and was known for his "rage outs", his former boss recalls.

Sayoc, 56, was snared by FBI agents on Friday in Plantation, Florida, accused of sending 14 explosives devices to vocal critics of President Trump.

His former manager Tamerlane Frank told Sun Online he remembered Sayoc as a quiet man with image issues and a “mile stare” when the suspect worked for him as a bouncer at the Atlantis Club, Fort Lauderdale.

Frank, 48, who now works as a history teacher, said: “I’d describe him as a recluse, an outcast. Most of the bouncers had a camaraderie with each other but he stuck to himself a little more.

“I remember he was prone to rage out at times during instances at the club.

“What was so drastic about him is that he would go from calm to enraged in a short time and he's not a small man. He was able to throw his weight around.

“In his defense, this was the largest club in Fort Lauderdale and every gold-toothed hood from Palm Beach to Miami came to that club.

"So even though his raging out may have been an exception amongst the group, it still was common for these sorts of situations to occur. It was a rough place in those days."

Frank also believes Sayoc may have been shooting up steroids during his time at the club, which may have contributed to his anger issues.

“He used to disappear for long periods of time during work and we suspected he was shooting up steroids in his car,” Frank said.

“That would explain why he would suddenly rage later on.

“Other people thought he might have been doing cocaine or even crack.

“As far as I know he wasn’t married or had kids but he was popular with the ladies at the club.

“He was a big, tan muscular guy with curly black hair - he posed a stunning figure.

“But he had these image issues - he was definitely image-conscious and we understood he had a hair transplant and some kind of plastic surgery.

“I heard he wanted to be a pro-wrestler and it was funny because he kind of reminded me of this old wrestler called Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka.

“He would wear wristbands and whatnot. It seemed he was trying to emulate that look.”

New Yorker Sayoc is a registered Republican who has been pictured attending Donald Trump rallies and had pro-Trump stickers all over his van.

He is also understood to be a bodybuilder and strip club worker with prior arrests for terror related offence.

Frank said although he felt like Sayoc had some deep-rooted issues - he never heard him talk politics.

And he said he was shocked to hear he was suspected of masterminding the pipe bomb spree.

“This was before 9/11 so there wasn’t a lot of political talk back then - everything we talked about was just generic, every day stuff," Frank recalled.

“From the time we spent together he seemed like a nice guy and you kind of overlook the rage issue when he’s got your back.

“I do feel like there’s something probably wrong with him, like he’s disturbed and now he’s going to have to pay for it for the rest of his life.”

A single finger print led the FBI to crack the mail bombing spree - in which 14 liberals had been sent suspicious packages - none of which detonated.

US Attorney General Jeff Sessions has said Sayok has been charged with five federal crimes and if convicted could face 48 years in prison.
